Teachers are the most valuable resource in our district and yet the Bellwood-Antis School District is treating them so poorly.
The teachers had a contract, and now the board is doing dirty tricks to avoid paying them the agreed upon wage. The board gave outrageous increases to the superintendent and business manager even though they claim there is no money for books or updated technology.
And they hire three new teachers who are not actually teaching. The board holds sham public meetings where there is no discussion, only unanimous agreement, because all of the issues have been discussed behind closed doors.
The Bellwood-Antis School District needs to get their priorities straight.
