I am writing today about a recent article in the Altoona Mirror about trees being cut down in Altoona.
This event is not isolated to just Altoona. Similar "pruning" began this spring all over Hollidaysburg.
I believe there needs to be a set protocol when it comes to butchering our wonderful trees that add such beauty to the area.
It took a long time for our trees to grow to how they are, and it takes too long for them to recover for us to start chopping off limbs willy nilly.
