Veronica H. (Hudack) Marvich, 90, Altoona, died Saturday at Altoona Regional after an extended illness.
She was born in Dixonville, daughter of the late John and Mary (Stufura) Hudack. She married Joseph Marvich on Jan. 24, 1959, in Alexandria, Va.
Surviving are her husband; a son, Joseph J. of Altoona; a sister, Elizabeth Meyers of Orlando, Fla.; and a brother, Paul Hudack of Butler.
She was preceded in death by numerous brothers and sisters.
Veronica was a 1940 graduate of Commodore High School, Indiana County. She was employed at Bel-Air Aircraft during WWII, and retired after 20 years with the federal government.
She enjoyed gardening and reading.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. until the 5 p.m. funeral service Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at The Good Funeral Home Inc., Alto-Reste Park Cemetery, the Rev. Wayne Ayer officiating. Interment will be at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
