Name: Brett Hileman
Athlete of the week achievement: Hileman was the MVP of the Altoona Curve Classic in leading the Golden Tigers to three victories and the title.
Season update: Hileman went 5-for-11 with a double, triple and five runs scored. He pitched twice in relief, facing 13 batters, striking out seven and allowing one hit, no runs and no walks in the tournament.
Coach Jon Szynal's quote: "Brett played great defense this past weekend. He made some big-time plays - he made an outstanding throw from short-center to get a guy at home - and he closed out two of our games. He throws the ball well and hustles on the basepaths. He's everything you want in a player.''
