James W. Hollen, 82, Hollentown, died Sunday at his residence.
He was born in Hollentown, son of the late Lemuel E. and Hazel M. (Scott) Hollen Sr. He married Lillian D. Baylin on Nov. 27, 1952, in Ramey.
He is survived by his wife; three daughters: Kim B. (James) Doerr of Atlanta, Ga., Lisa A. (John) Link of Patton and Patti (Mark) Miller of Manchester, Md.; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Betty A. Sailor of Erie.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Lemuel.
He was a 1948 graduate of Reade Township High School.
He had been employed 28 years as a truck driver for Peerless Transport, Curwensville, retiring in 1981. He was a life/benefactor member of the NRA and had a passion for antique cars.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to noon and 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday at McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow, with the funeral service at 3 p.m. with Pastor Joe Hollen officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Glasgow.
