Teamwork showing in fight vs. virus

How can we improve our world? By being a part of the solution rather than the problem.

Heartfelt words of gratitude and appreciation to the leadership and staff of The Mainline Pharmacy in Cresson along with the Franciscan Fathers, staff and students of Saint Francis University who stepped up to provide relief and hope to our local community.

I thankfully have received both shots of protection from the deadly coronavirus in the recent past. I came away most impressed with the results this partnership provided for our community.

All were welcomed with true Franciscan hospitality and received care with tremendous efficiency and Christian charity.

Dealing with the staff and students, I have great respect for what continues to happen on that hilltop. What a powerful impact these students and others like them will have on a needy world when they graduate and begin carriers of service wherever God leads them.

This is not the first time and is merely another when I have been most proud to call myself an alumnus of Saint Francis University, Loretto, Pa.

Much appreciation goes out to both respected institutions.
