Dems must regain control of US Senate
Stopping by the post office, I came upon yellow caution tape blocking off the crumbling front steps of the federal building.
That small example of neglect started me thinking this example was just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the Trump administration and the Republican Senate’s lack of care about addressing this critical societal need.
The Democratic House has passed and sent to the Republican Senate over 250 bills, one of which involves dealing with the crumbling infrastructure. These bills are sitting on Mitch McConnell’s desk waiting for the Senate to take action.
This is a travesty and the Senate’s leadership should be taken from this ineffective uncaring political hack by returning the Democrats to a majority in the U.S. Senate.
If President Donald Trump cared about this issue, the dismal state of the country’s roads, bridges, railroads, airports, ports and our communication grid could once again be corrected.
