Political volunteerism starts on local level

In this critical election year, the most important work is done at the local level by your political party.

This grassroots organization will determine how well the ground game is organized, preparation and recruitment of volunteers and other functions.

You will be barraged with political ads and requests for donations. None of this really impacts the work of the local party.

It’s the willingness of volunteers to step up and do the important work of political outreach that makes the difference.

You can make a significant contribution by becoming involved in your political committee. You can become a party official in your precinct by circulating a petition and getting elected by your neighbors to become a neighborhood leader.

This process is happening now and must be completed by Feb. 18. Reach out to your local party or to me for more information.
