Keep lake development in designated areas
I support the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the revised master plan for Raystown Lake.
I supported the groups opposed to the northeastern shore development. I do not understand the ongoing support for re-designation and development for a private group with adjacent parcels when there are designated potential development areas that exist in the current and will continue to exist in the revised plan.
If the resort development along Raystown is truly for the “good of all,” then a potential developer should be proposing in areas already zoned for such recreation.
The stated motivation of the current group pushing for this northeastern development is transparent and should be thwarted once and for all.
