Joyce needs to uphold the oath he took

Representative John Joyce’s lack of response to the appalling conditions of migrant detention camps is unconscionable.

It has recently come to light that children as young as 2 years old are being denied basic human needs — soap, toothpaste and diapers. They are being forced to sleep on concrete floors in frigid conditions without blankets.

Children!

As a physician, Joyce took an oath to “do no harm.” Did the good doctor conveniently forget this when he took the oath of office?

Joyce also claims to be a Christian. What kind of Christian would stand idly by and watch children suffer?

Joyce needs to speak up against these atrocities or relinquish both the title of care giver and Christian, for he is neither.
