Recycling takes cooperative effort

John Frederick’s article on recycling as a lifestyle, in my opinion, should be a way of life for all of us.

When are we going to realize it takes more than a few of us to stop the landfills from filling up? It takes an effort and working together to make recycling a larger priority for communities.

The mounds of trash are getting larger, and even our highways are becoming a garbage dump. More homes have so much “stuff” that garages are not used for their intended purpose but for storage.

More recycling of heavy plastic items such as five-gallon buckets and children’s toys would make a big difference.

There are lots of us who want to recycle and include more items, and hopefully, more people will realize the impact this will make and join us.
