In all of my 81 years, I have never seen this country so politically divided as it has become since Donald Trump took office.

Couples who have been married 25 or 30 years find themselves in divorce court because they have opposing opinions about Trump. Siblings and other family members no longer talk to one another because of their opposing opinions on Trump. Lifelong friends no longer speak because of a difference of opinion regarding Donald Trump.

If Donald Trump was a person of high moral character, with integrity beyond reproach, maybe I could understand this. But he is not. He is a convicted felon, for starters. His only agenda as president is to persecute his perceived enemies — Letitia James, James Comey, John Bolton, to name a few.

A few years from now, Donald Trump will no longer be in the picture. But marriages will be forever broken, families forever fractured and lifelong friends forever lost, all because of Donald Trump.

I ask you, was he worth it?
