William L. ‘Bill’ Pine

William L. “Bill” Pine, 74, of Lewisburg, passed away Feb. 13, 2025, at his home. He was born in Salem, Ohio, son of the late William and Leah (Burton) Pine. Bill was a 1968 graduate of Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a handyman in Lewisburg. Bill’s passions were motorcycles, reading and music. He is survived by sisters: Lynn Buchanan, Diane Hall, Mary Beth Pine-Welsh and Jennifer Ellsworth; and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be a celebration of life in Lewisburg and Hollidaysburg. Jeanne Ann Price, 78, of Tyrone, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2025. She was born in Baltimore, Md., the daughter of Ralph C. and Margaret (Patti) Moorehead. She was married to Sterl Redger Ardel Price, who preceded her in 1982. She is survived by four children: Tamara Kuba, David Chathams, Sterling Price and Sherry Younkins; eight grand-children; five great-grandchildren; a sister; and a fiance, Charles Spicer. Friends will be received Monday from 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 24, 2024, at Feller Memorial Home until the 3 p.m. funeral service.

Charles Ira “Sonny” Wasilko, 83, of Blandburg, died Wednesday at Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Altoona. He was born in Windber, a son of the late Charles I. and Clara Z. Wasilko. He is survived by his wife, the former Martha Marlin; five children: Sandra Schirf, Karen Miller, Lori Smeal, Charles Wasilko Jr. and Richard Wasilko; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A viewing will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, 2025, and on Sunday from noon until the 2 p.m. services, all at the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow.
