Eileen Elizabeth Nichols

Eileen E. Nichols, 81, formerly of Williamsburg, died Friday. She was born in Williamsburg, daughter of Wilson and Alice Bookhammer. Surviving are her husband, Bruce; sons, Harry and LeGrand; many grandchildren; and siblings: George, Ronald, David, Donald, Marjorie, Darlene and Dorothy. She was preceded in death by a son, Scott; and siblings: Thomas, Bernard, Walter and Alma. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until the noon memorial service Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2025, at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg.

Eleanor (Gettings) Latterner

Eleanor (Gettings) Latterner, 95, passed away Saturday in Gainesville, Ga., where she resided for the last 10 years. She was born in Frugality, the daughter of Michael and Beatrice (Ratchford) Gettings, and remained there until the family moved to Cresson when Eleanor was in eighth grade. She attended Cresson High School, graduating in 1947. Eleanor married Benjamin Latterner two years later. They retired to Florida in 1987, and spent many happy years in their Deltona home. Stephen Eric Noel

Stephen Eric Noel died Friday. He was born in Spangler, son of Robert T. and Marian (Tonkin) Noel. Surviving are his wife, Ann, whom he married Oct. 9, 1976; two children, Chris and Mary; three grandchildren; his mother; and two sisters, Suzie and Shelly. He was preceded in death by his father; and brothers: Mark, Tony and Rick. A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family.
