Donald W. Fowkes Jr.

He married Nancy R. Miller on Aug. 6, 1979, in Winchester, Va.

Surviving is his wife, Nancy; two daughters, Tracy Lascoli (Mike) and Tonya Fowkes-Lockard; and two grandchildren, McKenzie and Jordan Lascoli. He is also survived by his beloved dog, Gryffin.

Following graduation from Hollidaysburg High School, he worked for the Meadow’s.

Don joined the Allegheny Township Police Department in 1968, where he became Chief of Police and retired after 32 years of service. He was elected as Allegheny Township supervisor in 2003, serving for 18 years, giving 50 years combined service to Allegheny Township.

Don was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Jaffa Shrine.

He was an avid hunter and enjoyed camping, traveling and riding motorcycles and his ATV.

At Don’s request, all services will be private. Interment will take place at Alto-Reste Park.
