Conforto
Louis T. Conforto, 93, originally of Altoona, passed away Thursday, Oct. 17, 2024, in Bellevue, Wash. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Antonio and Maria (Fatigante) Conforto.
He later married Regina Colabove.
He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Regina; a daughter, Carleen (Scott) Conforto-de Recat; a son, Michael (Heather) Conforto;
four grandchildren: David de Recat, Jacqueline Conforto, Olivia de Recat and Michael (Cabernet) Conforto; and a great-grandchild, Camden Conforto.
Louis was an Altoona High School graduate and worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad.
He enjoyed bowling and all sports, but especially Penn State football. He also loved spending quality time with his grandchildren.
He was a member of the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church choir and Holy Name Society.
Friends will be received from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral Mass on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery.
