Laura ‘Louise’ Swope

Laura “Louise” Swope, 89, Coupon, died Thursday. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Lewis and Ellen (Montgomery) Swope. She was preceded in death by siblings: Janet Eichenlaub, (twin) Mary “Patricia” Laskowski and Clair; in-laws, Wayne Riggleman and Myrna Swope; and godchild, Mary Lou Frank. Surviving is a son, Louie Swope; and siblings: Agnes Riggleman, Frances “Gert” Swope, Donald, Edward, Shirley Woytowiez and Wilbert “Wib”; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 1 until the 2 p.m. funeral service Sunday, Oct. 1, 2023, at Gibbons Funeral Home, Ashville.
