James L. Stonebraker

James L. Stonebraker, 77, of Tyrone, died Sept. 8, 2021. He was born in Tyrone, a son of the late Chester and Anna H. Gunsallus Stonebraker.
He married Helen Minemier in October 1968.
James is survived by his wife, in Huntingdon, children: Sandy Pritchard (Jim), James Stonebraker (Dottie), Chester Stonebraker (Christi) and Anna Stonebraker; grandchildren: Kristin Moore, Anthony and Katelyn Cannistraci, Naomi, Blossom and Terrance Stonebraker and Zachary Stonebraker; great-grandchildren: Lydia Cochran, Jane and Gavin Cannistraci, Baylee and Colton Mazzotta, Mason Moore and Aspen Stonebraker; sisters: Mary and her husband, Ted Martin, of Denver, Pa. and Hazel Parks of Ephrata.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Florence Murdock.
James was a member of the Neptunes Fire Company, the Fire Police, and the Central District 2022 of the Volunteer Firemen’s Association.
He had worked for Snyder Township and at DelGrosso’s Amusement Park as a security guard and parking cars.
James loved his wife and spending time hunting.
A memorial service will be held from 1 until the service at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021, at Derman Funeral Home Inc., Tyrone. Inurnment will be in Grandview Cemetery.
