Bernard J. Albright

May 8, 1957 – Sept. 23, 2021

Bernard J. Albright, 64, Patton, passed away Thursday at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Spangler, the son of Robert and Rosemary (Glasser) Albright.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Francis Albright.

He is survived by his wife, Paula (Haluska) Albright, whom he married March 12, 1994, and children, Robert Vinglish II and fiancee, Viola Hockenberry, of Patton, Aimee Albright of St. Petersburg, Fla., Alexander Albright and fiancee, Rachel Lancaster, of Philadelphia. Also surviving are grandchildren, Maisun Brink and Samantha Conklin and several nieces and nephews.

Bernie was a 1974 graduate of Bishop Carroll High School. He retired as a surveyor from PennDOT District 10 Indiana County.

He was a member of St. Monica Catholic Church, Chest Springs.

Bernie was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, shooting, trapping, going to archery shoots and spending time with his children.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 26, 2021, at Stevens Funeral Home Inc., 1004 N. Fifth Ave., Patton.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 27, 2021, at St. Monica Catholic Church, Chest Springs by the Rev. Jerzy Auguscik, O.F.M.
