Kenneth L. Roub
March 14, 1959 – June 12, 2021
Kenneth L. Roub, 62, of Imler, passed away late Saturday, June 12, 2021, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. He was born in New Brunswick, N.J., son of the late Carl “Cub” and Anna Rose (Tomori) Roub.
On April 28, 1984, he married Pamela J. Meade in Altoona.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 37 years: two sisters, Annaliese R. Dell (Randy) of Williamsburg and Barbara J. Long of Martinsburg; a father-in-law, Luther Meade Jr. of Martinsburg; two brothers-in-law; two sisters-in-law; and 13 nieces and nephews, who often called him “favorite uncle.” He loved them dearly.
Ken was a 1977 graduate of Central High School and attended Morrison Cove Baptist Church, rural Roaring Spring.
He began working at Sears in Altoona while in high school, starting as a sales associate and later becoming the manager of the paints and hardware department, finishing with 24 years of service. Ken was more recently employed at True Value, Roaring Spring, and StelTek Graphics in Bedford.
Ken loved spending time with his family and working outside around their home. He also enjoyed weaving, going to auctions and making fudge for his family’s special occasions.
Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. today,
June 15, 2021, at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg; and from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at the funeral home, with Pastors Aaron Musselman and Roland Cadle officiating. Interment will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.
