Lisa Lorraine Morris, 53, Altoona, passed away Wednesday morning at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh, after brief illness with brain cancer.

She was born as a twin at Altoona Hospital to Edward Morris Sr. of Oregon and Marjorie Witherspoon of Altoona.

Surviving are her mother and father; a son, Stephen (Ashleigh) Piner; two daughters: LaTonya (T.T) and Chantel (Mabel) Tilghman of Altoona; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her twin sister, Lori (Ben) Forshey; two brothers: Edward Jr. (Robin) and Albert (Anna) Morris of Altoona; a sister, Deneen (Bruce) Tunnell of Dover, Del.; her godson, Trevor Cullen; and Kali Moyer, whom she helped raise.

She was preceded in death by two grandchildren: Tyler and Angel; a sister, Christine Lynch; and her stepfather, Garland Witherspoon.

Lisa had an abundance of friends, including those who were particularly close to her: Jeanette Moyer, Lisa Cullen, Lionel Brown and Jess and Rob Addison. She was fortunate to have a large host of cousins and family who will miss her dearly. She was a lover of pets, especially her dog, Yuna.

The family plans to have a memorial service celebrating Lisa next year due to COVID-19 restrictions.
