Darlene A. Harr

Darlene A. Harr, 87, of Imler passed away Thursday at home. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Millard and Elizabeth (Whysong) Smith. She married Charles “Fred” Harr on April 30, 1952, in Winchester, Va. He preceded her in death on Dec. 7, 2014.

Surviving are four sons: Dwayne (Karen) and Kevin (Kristy) of Claysburg,

Dennis (David Musselman) of Rehoboth Beach, Del., and Rodney (Pam) of Imler; eight grandchildren: Vicki, Stephen, Kristen, Kendra, Julie, Ryan, Kayla and Samantha; 11 great-grandchildren: Ethan, Layla, Dylan, Ember, Ashlynn, Logan, Eli, Piper, Conner, Grayson and Deacon; and three sisters: Nancy (Wayne) Summers, Hazel Snowberger and Joyce (Charlie) Weyant. She was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Claar.

Darlene was a member of Puzzletown Road Bible Church. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family, with Pastor Jon Gross officiating. Interment will be at Greenfield Cemetery. Arrangements by Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg.
