Cindy Phillips, 59, Hollidaysburg, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 4, 2020, at her residence.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Harry Phillips and Sandy (Stell) Mayhue.

Surviving are two brothers: Randy Phillips and wife, Deb, of State College, and Glenn Biggs, in Florida; a sister, Kelly Phillips of Hollidaysburg; a nephew, Matt Phillips and wife, Amber, of Hollidaysburg, and their children, Nathan, Aubree and Briella, to whom Cindy took great pride in being their loving great-aunt; three additional nephews: Josh, Ridge and Hunter Phillips and his children, Hunter Jr., Greyson and Parker; cousin, Thomas Rhodes Jr., of Altoona; and her dear friend, Linda Dunmire.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Danny Phillips; and her longtime companion, Paul “Kutz” Good.

Cindy was a 1979 graduate of Altoona Area High School. She was a landscaper for Penn State University, retiring after many years of service.

She enjoyed hunting, fishing and the great outdoors, as well as spending time with her family and her Boston Terrier, Raven.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no public viewing or service. Arrangements are by Anthony P. Scaglione Funeral Home, 1908 Seventh Ave., Altoona.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Cindy’s memory can be made to the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society.
