Luther M. Wagner Sr.

Luther M. Wagner Sr., 73, Bald Eagle, died Thursday at UPMC Altoona.

He was born in Altoona, son of Luther B. and Cordelia (Frank) Wagner. He was previously married to Cheryl Wagner, who survives in Warriors Mark.

Surviving are a son, Luther M. II of Leola; three daughters: Christine Zimmerman (Kevin), Yvonne Walk (Jody) and Kelly Hammond (Allen), all of Tyrone; 10 grandchildren: Kelsey, Bradley and Natasha Wagner, Tyler and Shannon Zimmerman, Kyle and Kacey Poorman, Lindsey and Cameron Walk and Audrey Hammond; a great-granddaughter, Veronica; three sisters: Connie Fry (Lee) and Lucille Derrish (Scott), both of Lititz, and Joan Emerick (Pastor Dane) of Lynchburg, Va.; and a brother, David Wagner (Cindy) of Williamsburg.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kristin; and a sister, Aileen.

Mr. Wagner retired as a machinist from Chicago-Rivet, Tyrone, in 2010, following 40 years of service.

He was a member of the Bavarian Club and Unter Uns, Altoona.

Luther enjoyed bowling, golf, line dancing, hiking and hunting. He was very much loved and was proud of his family.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private service and burial will be held. Ar­range­ments are by Feller Memorial Home, Tyrone.
