Elvin G. Liebegott

Elvin G. Liebegott, 97, formerly of Duncansville, died Friday at Kelly Manor, York.
He was born in Duncansville, son of the late M. Luther and Jeanette (Graham) Liebegott. On July 12, 1945, he married Jean Clites and she preceded him in death in 2010.
Surviving are a daughter, Susan Liebegott (Tom Murray) of York; four grandchildren: Erik Liebegott (Shelby), Sesame Corbett, Eamonn Murray (Muoy) and Devin Murray (Kristen); six great-grandchildren: Abigail, Ava and Alivia Liebegott, Jasmine Taylor (Keith), Ramell Baldwin, and Tucker Murray; two great-great-granddaughters: Zo and Nari Taylor; two step great-great-grandsons: Keion and Kai Taylor; two sisters: Alice Eichelberger and Mary Smith; a sister-in-law, Marlene Clites; and multiple generations of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, David, in 2009; and two brothers: Alfred and Richard Liebegott.
Elvin was a 1940 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. He retired from Conrail in 1986, then worked for the Hollidaysburg Area School District as a printer.
He was a past member of First Presbyterian Church, Hollidaysburg.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment will take place at Carson Valley Cemetery, Duncansville. Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., Duncansville.
