Connie Louise Stewart

Connie Louise Stewart, 58, Martinsburg, W.Va., passed away unexpectedly Friday at her residence.
She was born in Hanau, Germany, daughter of the late Vito Anthony DeCriscio Jr. and Patricia Louise (Hand) DeCriscio. On Feb. 26, 1999, she married her husband, Robert Dale Stewart.
Along with her loving husband, she is survived by her son, James Paul DeCriscio and wife, Elizabeth; two daughters: Leigha Erin Moore and husband, Michael, and Leisha Rae Stewart; seven grandchildren: Hannah, Keaton, Kiara, Derek, Harlei, Mia and Lincoln; and an aunt, Ruth Good.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Tony DeCriscio; two uncles: Charles Good and Richard Hand; a nephew, Richard DeCriscio; a niece, Christina DeCriscio; her mother-in-law, Jean Reese; a brother-in-law, Chuckie Reese; a sister-in-law, Theresa DeCriscio; and her beloved dog, Sassy.
She was employed with the Department of Veterans Affairs and was a member of the ROTC.
Connie loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed flying with her father and cooking with her mother. Scrapbooking, sewing and shopping the local yard sales were also some of her favorite things to do. She loved helping veterans and doing everything she could to make sure they were taken care of. Shopping trips with Aunt Ruthie always made for great memories.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until noon Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2019, at The Good Funeral Home Inc., Alto-Reste Park, where a funeral service will take place at noon. Interment will be at Alto-Reste Park.
