Rick Moyer, 59, Gallitzin, died on his birthday, Wednesday, at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Altoona, the son of the late Robert W. and Rosemarie (Brannan) Moyer.
Surviving are: a brother, Faber; a nephew, Brodi (Alex) Mechuta and their daughter, Ella; close friends, Lisa and Dave Modico and their children, Mary Kate and Joe; and uncles, aunts and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Ted, on Jan. 2, 1989.
Rick was a1979 graduate of Bishop Carroll High School and Pittsburgh Technical School. He worked as a milkman for Valewood Dairy.
Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. today, Nov. 15, 2019, and from noon until the 1 p.m. service Saturday, Nov. 16, 2019, at Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church Street, Gallitzin, with the Rev. Leo Arnone officiating. Committal will be at St.Patrick Cemetery.
