Michael McCaulley, 67, Altoona, passed away on Tuesday at UPMC Altoona, following an extended illness.
He was born in Altoona, son of the late James L. and Margaret (Loupe) McCaulley. On Nov. 10, 1984, he married Mary E. Hoff in Altoona.
Surviving are his wife; a son, Justin (Carlee) McCaulley of Altoona; two grandchildren: Greer and Joel McCaulley; a brother, Matthew (Darlene) McCaulley of Hollidaysburg; sisters-in-law: Peggy (Joe) Deleo and Judy Hoff; a brother-in-law, Matt (Karen) Hoff; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and lifelong friends.
Michael was a 1970 graduate of Altoona Area High School. He was a licensed Pa. real estate broker and appraiser for 42 years. He retired from ReMax Realty after seven years of service and was a former owner of ERA Pleasant Valley Real Estate and the Pleasant Valley Shopping Center.
He was a past member of the Altoona Rotary Club and past president of the Allegheny Highlands Board of Realtors.
Michael was an avid reader and lover of all kinds of music, architecture and history. He especially enjoyed the Pittsburgh Steelers, Penn State University football and the Boston Celtics. He also had a passion for politics and was a fan of classic movies.
Friends will be received from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, 2019, at The Stevens Mortuary Inc., 1421 Eighth Ave., Altoona, concluding at 6 p.m. with a celebration of life.
