Donna Ann Hileman

May 15, 1937 – Nov. 13, 2019


Donna Ann Hileman, 82, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday morning at The Village at Morrisons Cove, Martinsburg.

She was born in Frankstown to her parents, the late Charles M. and Christine C. (Ling) Hileman.

Surviving are a sister, Bonnie L. Malone and a niece, Julie A. Malone, of Hollidaysburg. Donna resided with her sister and niece prior to her stay at The Village at Morrisons Cove. She is also survived by her brother, Charles R. “Bud” Hileman of Altoona; and her niece, Debbie Hileman of Bellwood.

She was a member of Grace Bible Church.

Donna was a 1955 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. She was an employee at Butterick Co. Inc., for over 30 years, but her passion was music and her family. She studied voice and piano with the late Marion Buzzard. Donna had a gifted soprano operatic voice that touched many lives. Earlier in life, she was a member of the chancel choir and lead soloist at the First Methodist Church, Altoona. Donna was well-known in the area through her singing at many churches and on radio. Her voice was from her soul and she sang for the Lord. Donna loved Christmas, the Lord, her family and her dogs Tessie, Buffy, Angel, Cuddles and Mika.

Friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. today,

Nov. 14, 2019, at Plank, Stitt & Stevens Funeral Home, 421 Montgomery St., Hollidaysburg. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 15, 2019, at Grace Bible Church, Pastor Daren Ritchey officiating. Interment will be at Alto-Reste Park.
