James L. Musselman Sr.

March 9, 1959 - Aug. 17, 2019

James L. Musselman Sr., 60, Claysburg, died Saturday afternoon at The Village at Morrisons Cove after a short battle with cancer.

He was born in Claysburg, son of the late Kenneth and Idabelle (Teeter) Musselman.

Surviving are five sons: James L. Musselman Jr. and wife, Shaina, and Ryan C. Musselman and wife, Stefanie, all of Roaring Spring, the children of James and Brenda (Imler) Albright, and Jacob Musselman, Tylor Musselman and Brandon Musselman, all of Hyndman, the children of James and Patricia Cornman; seven grandchildren: Nathan, Maddie, Keely, Gage, Jaxon, Maddox and Carter; three brothers: Kenneth Musselman Jr. of Claysburg, David Musselman and wife, Denise, of New Paris and George Musselman and wife, Carol, of Claysburg; and a sister, Vickie Heck, of Columbus, Ga.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Penny Lesher; and his long time companion, Shirley Conner.

James had been employed in property maintenance for Butch Metzger Apartments in Claysburg. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, NASCAR, Pittsburgh Steelers football and shooting pool.

At the request of the deceased there will be no viewing or services. Arrangements are by Todd T. Thompson Funeral Home Inc., Roaring Spring.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in James’ memory may be given to Friendship Volunteer Fire Department No. 1 Inc., 808 E. Main St., Roaring Spring, PA 16673.
