Brandon P. Koehle

Brandon P. Koehle, 36, Altoona, lost his battle for life on Tuesday at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, after a lengthy history of substance abuse and a prior head injury.
He was born in Altoona, son of Anthony and Suzanne (Ergler) Koehle. He married Jennifer Gimigliano.
Surviving are his wife, Jennifer of Altoona; his parents, Anthony and Suzanne of Altoona; two sisters: Tina (Steven) Samson of Reisterstown, Md., and Christine (Clifton) Treaster of Spring Mills; three brothers: Anthony (Melissa) Koehle Jr., Matthew (Laura) Koehle and Brad (Sarah) Koehle, all of Altoona; and many beloved nieces and nephews: Alli, Trey, Alaina, Sydney, Tate, Bryce, Peyton, Abby, Maddy, Terrill, Tucker, Kaiden, Vinney, Kaylee, Ivan and Leah.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Adam; and a brother-in-law, Dustin Manning.
Brandon was a 2001 graduate of Bishop Guilfoyle Catholic High School and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
He had a great smile and sense of humor. He loved going to the ball field with his dog, Loco. He enjoyed woodworking, camping and music. Brandon was a caring person that would always have a meaningful gift for his nieces and nephews.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at noon Friday, May 10, 2019, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Father Lubomir Strecok officiating and Monsignor Stanley Carson, homilist.
