The following sentencings were filed in Blair County Court. Although some cases may be more than a year old, the Mirror publishes them in the interest of complete reporting.
The following defendant was placed in the Intermediate Punishment Program for a period of 60 days to 60 months, and will pay costs of the program and complete 25-30 hours of community service:
Alexis N. Shade, 24, 414 21st Ave., sentenced July 10, 2018, for DUI-high rate, filed by state police on Sept. 26, 2016.
The following defendants pleaded guilty to charges listed and were sentenced as shown:
Marni E. Miller, 37, 3168 Warriors Mark Path, Warriors Mark, sentenced March 2, 2018, to $100 fine and 12 months’ probation for possession of a controlled substance, filed by Tyrone police on Sept. 20, 2017.
Nicole L. Eger, 27, 520 Crawford Ave., sentenced on July 5, 2018, to $100 fine and 12 months’ probation for obstructing administration of law; $300 fine for possession of drug paraphernalia; and $100 fine and six months’ probation for retail theft, filed by Altoona police on Oct. 25, 2017.
Terry L. Welsh, 58, 1511 13th St., Apt. 7, sentenced on Dec. 22, 2017, to $100 fine and six months’ probation for theft by unlawful taking, and $100 fine and six months’ probation for disorderly conduct, filed by Altoona police on Oct. 14, 2017.
