The following sentencings were filed in Blair County Court. Although some cases may be more than a year old, the Mirror publishes them in the interest of complete reporting.
The following defendants were placed in probation without verdict program for four to six months and will pay all statutorily imposed costs of prosecution.
Tannar R. Belles, 23, 844 Puzzletown Road, Duncansville, charged by Blair Township police with possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and a summary traffic violation April 27, 2018.
The following defendants pleaded guilty to charges listed and were sentenced as shown:
William J. Gentry, 49, 219 E. Fifth Ave., Altoona, sentenced Oct. 18, 2018, to a $50 fine and six months’ probation for simple assault, false imprisonment and harassment filed by Altoona police on May 27, 2018.
Loren M. Walck Jr., 32, 1627 Crawford Ave., Altoona, sentenced July 13, 2018, to a $50 fine and one year’s probation for possession of drug paraphernalia and a $50 fine for possession of a small amount of marijuana filed by Blair Township police on April 22, 2018.
