Altoona police

– Jeremie J. Coughenour, 35, 3801 Fourth Ave., was arrested Friday on the 1400 block of Third Avenue on a Blair County Sheriff’s Department warrant.

– Douglas Zimmerman, 285 Elizabeth Road, was charged Friday with driving under the influence on the 200 block of Fourth Street.

Clearfield state police

– Brian Miles, 37, Curwensville, was charged Thursday with simple assault after allegedly striking a 33-year-old Curwensville woman on Schofield Street, Curwensville Borough, causing an injury to her head and eye.

— William Thomas Bonsell, 40, was arrested Sunday evening at 320 21st Ave. on a Tyrone police warrant and charged with terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment.

Bedford state police

— Police are looking for the person who stole a 12-foot aluminum Sears boat from a home on the 200 block of Creek Road in East St. Clair Township. Police said the boat was taken sometime between May 17 and Friday. Anyone with information is asked to call police.

— State police are investigating a hit-and-run that occurred Wednesday night in Napier Township. Police said a driver was following a Ford F-250 too closely along Route 30 near Camp Living Water Road about 10:30 p.m. The truck’s driver told police he saw a deer in the road and hit his brakes. The car behind him struck the left side of his vehicle, according to police, and the driver then left the scene heading west on Route 30. The truck driver was uninjured, police said.

— Police said they arrested a Bedford man Friday for violating a protection-from-abuse order. Police arrested Shawn Wareham along New Baltimore Road just before 6:30 Friday morning, police said, for violating the terms of the conditions of the order.

— An unknown person stole three Stihl weed wackers from a location along Woodside Lane in Hopewell Township on Thursday or Friday.

Philipsburg state police

— An unidentified motorcyclist fled Thursday after state police attempted to pull him over in Philipsburg. Police chased the rider down several streets before he escaped at a high speed. Police said the motorcyclist was white, wearing a blue full-face helmet and dark long-sleeved shirt with jeans and a green backpack. Police have asked anyone with information on his identity to call the Philipsburg barracks.

– Travis T. Hess, 40, 5639 Williamsburg Mountain Road, Huntingdon, was arrested Saturday afternoon at Beale Avenue and Logan Avenue and cahrged with driving under the influence and harassment.

– Noah James Hurlock, 1118 15th Ave., was arrested Saturday afternoon near his home and charged with driving under the influence.

– Alan D. Copenhaver, 111 E. Fifth Ave., was arrested late Saturday at Seventh Avenue and 15th Street and charged with driving under the influence.

– Kimbra A. Stranford, 1917 14th Ave., was arrested late Saturday at the 2100 block of 14th Avenue and charged with driving under the influence.

— Joshua A. Ross, 26, 610 Fifth Ave., was arrested early Friday at his home and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

— Stephen M. McCormic, 51, homeless, was arrested early Friday on the 500 block of Fifth Avenue and charged with driving under the influence and a traffic violation.

— Jason Swanson, 34, 3343 Maplewood Drive, was arrested April 16 on Valley View Boulevard and charged with driving under the influence.

— Cameron R. Barroner, 26, 203 Maple Ave., was arrested May 8 at West Plank Road and Orchard Avenue and charged with driving under the influence.

Hollidaysburg state police

— Melinda Ann Fetter, 25, Altoona, was cited for harassment after an alleged incident May 7 on Pleasant Valley Boulevard in Logan Township.

— Stephen P. Turiano, 53, Tyrone, was arrested March 28 on South Eagle Valley Road in Snyder Township and charged with driving under the influence.

Huntingdon State Police

— Police are investigating counterfeit $50 bills and a $100 bill passed at Wal-Mart, Smithfield Township, Huntingdon County, on the evening of April 29.

— Sometime between 3 p.m. May 10 and 2 p.m. May 13, a cabin at Trough Creek Drive, Todd Township, Huntingdon County, was burglarized. Sugar packets and canned foods were taken.

– Christopher Harpster, 24, 414 Sixth St., was arrested Saturday on an Altoona Police Department warrant at his residence.

– Brian P. Hatch, 1925 15th Ave., was charged Saturday with simple assault and harassment at his residence.

– Joseph A. Burd, 30, 507 19th St., was arrested Sunday on a Blair County Sheriff’s Department warrant on the 1800 block of Fifth Avenue Alley.

– Michael Cieslak, 24, Washington, D.C., was charged Sunday with driving under the influence at 17th Street and Margaret Avenue.

– Daniel Hughes, no age and address listed, was charged Sunday with a drug law violation on the 1800 block of Fifth Avenue Alley.

– An unknown actor drove onto Kingdom Hall Church’s lawn, 12036 Standing Stone Road, Oneida Township, sometime between 8:30 p.m. April 25 and 7 a.m. April 26, causing damage.

– An unknown actor distributed counterfeit $10 bills Thursday at Axis Leather Motorcycle, Mill Creek, and Woody’s BBQ, Huntingdon.

– Michael Hoffer, Mapleton Depot, was arrested and charged with drunken driving early Thursday for an alleged incident at the intersection of Grant and Church streets.

– An unknown actor entered a barn through a window sometime Tuesday or Wednesday on the 19000 block of Smith Valley Road, Cass Township, and stole tools, heavy chains and other farm-related items.

– Katelyn N. Gampe, 20, 2419 Sycamore Drive, Hollidaysburg, was arrested early Friday and charged with drunken driving and purchase, consumption, possession or transportation of alcohol for an alleged incident on the 600 block of Ninth Street.

– Michael Connen, 58, 934 First Ave., was arrested Friday evening and charged with public drunkenness for an alleged incident at the intersection of Frankstown Road and Longfellow Avenue.

– Charles P. Wilt Jr., 5925 Evergreen Court, was arrested Friday night and charged with drunken driving for an alleged incident on the 800 block of Seventh Avenue.

– David Hauser, 306 Sixth Ave., was arrested Saturday and charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana, use/possesion of drug paraphernalia and public drunkenness for an alleged incident on the 300 block of Seventh Ave.

– Michael P. Noel, 37, 1905 Third Ave., was arrested Saturday and charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana, use/possesion of drug paraphernalia and drunken driving for an alleged incident in an alley near the 400 block of Second Ave.

Bedford state police

– An unknown actor posted a virus to a computer on the afternoon of April 14 and asked the owner, of Hopewell, to pay $199 to have it removed. When the owner paid $199, the virus was not removed.

Clearfield state police

– An unknown actor scattered garbage near McCully Avenue and Ida and Pacific streets sometime between 9:30-11 p.m. Friday in Woodward Township.

– An unknown actor struck a chain link fence with a vehicle, damaging it, some time between 9 p.m. Tuesday and 10:30 a.m. Wednesday near the 700 block of Railroad Street, Coalport Borough.

Philipsburg state police

– An unknown actor attempted to break into a residence on the 300 block of Jesse Street, Rush Township, sometime between 4 p.m. Thursday and noon Friday.
