One person was killed after being struck by a vehicle early Tuesday morning along Pleasant Valley Blvd. in Antis Township.

According to a press release from state police at Hollidaysburg, Travis E. Replogle of Altoona was walking north on the west shoulder of 4578 E. Pleasant Valley Blvd. about 6 a.m. when he was hit by a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee that was traveling south in the right lane.

Replogle suffered fatal injuries and the Blair County coroner was called to the scene. The vehicle had minor damage, and the driver reportedly had no injuries.

The intersection of Rossi Drive/Tipton Road was closed Tuesday morning.
