Two people were killed in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday night in Bedford County.

Jayson D. Diehl, 21, of Manns Choice and an unnamed 17-year-old female of Altoona were killed in the 8:50 p.m. accident on Route 31 in Harrison Township.

According to state police, a Ram truck driven by Logan M. Imler, 25, of Hyndman was traveling northbound on Route 31/Allegheny Road at the intersection of Milligans Cove Road when the truck crossed over the double yellow center line and struck a Manco Fox Vortex powersport/offroad vehicle.

The offroad vehicle became lodged under the truck, the police report states, and the 17-year-old passenger was ejected, while Diehl was trapped inside.

The offroad vehicle ended up on the shoulder of the southbound lane while the truck continued north in the southbound lane, went off the road and struck a tree.

Imler was not injured in the crash, police reported.
