Library to host bubble show Monday

A free Bubble Show presented by Bubble Science & Magic Expert Lynn Dalby will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday, June 23, at Bellwood-Antis Public Library.

Enjoy an evening of bubble magic for all ages.

Food collection for veterans is Friday

Laurel Highlands Historical Village will be in front of the Ebensburg Walmart from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today to collect items for veterans and elderly who are in need of food and other necessities.

They are collecting gift cards, all food items, paper goods, hygiene products, blankets, ceramic heaters, new and used kitchen items and towels for those in need.

Donations also can be dropped off at the Galleria Mall in Johnstown, Hoss’s in Ebensburg or Johnstown, Kimmie’s Restaurant in Mundys Corner, Stagers in Portage and Randy’s BiLo in Windber.

They are also in need of gift cards, and they can be mailed to LHHV, 390 Rose Branch St., Johnstown, PA 15909.
