Parents Jaden Snyder and Lee Hamm are celebrating Mother’s Day and the birth of their daughter, Emma Hamm. Emma is one of “UPMC Magee’s Sweetest Treats,” born at UPMC Altoona at 10:53 a.m. Tuesday, May 6. She weighed in at 8 pounds and measured 20 inches. She will join her big sister, who is exactly one year and 10 days older than Emma. The family laughed as they shared that May will be a busy month for them with the holiday and two birthdays all within weeks of each other.

To celebrate Mother’s Day, newborn babies at UPMC Magee-Womens at UPMC Altoona are dressed in pale yellow onesies with ice cream cone hats complete with a cherry on top that were crocheted by kind staff members of UPMC Altoona and volunteers from across the region.
