AAA East Central is presenting a free seminar at the Altoona branch office with the focus on the growing threat of cybercrime and the increased risk of identity theft.

Cybercrimes are the fastest-growing crimes, and seniors — along with children, teens and college students — are at a higher risk of falling prey to identity theft scams.

According to the Federal Trade Commission, there is a victim of identity theft in the U.S. every 22 seconds.

The free seminar will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 25, at the AAA Altoona branch office, 1634 Valley View Blvd.
