Free holiday dinner today

A free community Thanksgiving dinner will be served from 4 to 7 p.m. today, Tuesday, Nov. 26, at the Altoona Heritage Discovery Center.

The meal is hosted by Center City Church and includes traditional Thanksgiving favorites.

No reservations are necessary and the meal is open to everyone.

Patton to hold Light-Up Night

The Patton annual Light-Up Night will be held Friday, Nov. 29. The parade lineup begins at 6 p.m. with the parade slated to begin at 6:30 p.m.

After the parade, everyone is invited to visit Santa at the fire hall for photos, hot chocolate, treats and more.
