Dedication to honor 8 brothers for service

A highway bridge over Coal Pit Run in Blacklick Township will be dedicated Friday in honor of the Lanzendorfer brothers.

The brothers, eight in all, served during World War II, the Korean War and in peace time.

They also served their communities in a variety of public positions, including police chief, postmaster and tax collector.

The ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. at the Steve Klosz VFW Post 7605, 902 Station Road, Twin Rocks.
