Inmate faces harassment charge
A Blair County Prison inmate faces charges after he allegedly sprayed an inmate with fecal matter from a water bottle, court documents state.
Lavelle David Lee Nelom, 24, was arraigned Friday before Magisterial District Judge Paula M. Aigner on a felony charge of aggravated harassment by a prisoner.
The incident occurred May 17 when police received a call from Blair County Prison requesting police contact.
The responding officer made contact with Sgt. Chad Murray, who showed the officer video of the incident.
Nelom is scheduled to appear before Judge Aigner for a preliminary hearing June 7.
