Logan plans speeding enforcement

The Logan Township Police Department announced it will be conducting speed law enforcement in the area of Spook Hollow and Grandview Road.

Police said motorists should be reminded the speed limit for that area is 25 mph.

The department did not specify when the speed law enforcement will begin.

Man charged in missing trail cameras

A Stoystown man is accused of stealing trail cameras from a Bedford County residence.

Brandon Dow Kennedy, 39, was arraigned Monday by Bedford County Magisterial District Judge Brian K. Baker on felony charges of burglary and criminal trespassing after he allegedly stole items from a residence on the 200 block of Fleming Hill Road, Juniata Township, according to a police report.

Kennedy is being held at Bedford County Correctional Facility in lieu of $75,000 cash bail and is to appear before Baker on Sept. 29 for a preliminary hearing.
