Police: Intruder shot Clearfield man

CLEARFIELD — State police are looking for two males, one of whom allegedly shot a man in the leg at a residence on Allport Cutoff Road in Bradford Township, Clearfield County.

Troopers were notified shortly after noon Wednesday that a man had been shot.

Upon arriving, state police found a man using two towels to put pressure on a gunshot wound to his leg. The victim told police that two unknown men brandishing a firearm demanded his drugs, according to a state police news release.

“After taking the drugs, one actor fired a single round which struck the victim in the left leg,” the news release stated. The victim was transported for medical treatment.

One of the men being sought is described as white with slightly darker skin, about 6-foot tall with a skinny build, wearing khaki shorts, white socks and a black ball cap. The other was about 5 foot, 5 inches, with a skinny build and wearing jean shorts, sneakers and a black ball cap.
