Saleme enters race for Hollidaysburg council

Kirk Saleme, 44, of Allegheny Street, the owner of Creamery & Crepes cafe in Hollidaysburg, has announced his candidacy for Borough Council in Hollidaysburg Ward 4 on the Republican ballot.
“Kirk and his wife, Heather, are just the sort of people the community relies on,” said George
Foster, Saleme’s next-door neighbor. “They helped inject new life into the center of Hollidaysburg, setting up one of the county’s best cafes and restoring several fine historic buildings.”
Foster said Saleme has hired scores of people and supported many businesses in the area.
“Through hard work and carefully managed investments, the Salemes have raised a healthy and prosperous young family living right in the heart of the old district, improving all our lives in the process,” Foster said.
