Zungali seeks sixth term as district judge

PATTON — Michael Zungali of Patton has announced he will seek a sixth term as a magisterial district judge in Cambria County.

The district covers the boroughs of Northern Cambria, Hastings and Patton, and Barr, Susquehanna, Elder, Clearfield, Chest, White, West Carroll, Reade and Dean townships.

Zungali, 68, was first elected in 1991. He graduated from Cambria Heights in 1970, and has an associate’s degree in computer technology and electronics. He has earned 29 certificates for continuing education courses in criminal and civil law, evidence, judicial procedures and administration.

Zungali has served 13 years on the Patton Borough Council, including seven as president. He also served three years as Patton’s mayor.

He also is a past president of the Patton Volunteer Fire Company. He is a life member of the Hastings and Patton fire companies.

He is married and has three sons and two grandchildren.
