The following sentencings were filed in Blair County Court. Although some cases may be more than a year old, the Mirror publishes them in the interest of complete reporting.

The following defendants pleaded guilty to charges listed and were sentenced as shown:

Dennis R. Knarr, 32, 329 N. 16th Ave., sentenced Oct. 22, 2018, to $50 fine for conspiracy; six to 12 months in jail and $50 fine for criminal use of a communication facility; one to two years in jail and $50 fine for possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance; one to two years in jail and $50 fine for possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance; one to two years in jail and $50 fine for criminal use of a communication facility; one to two years in jail and $50 fine for possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance; one to two years in jail and $50 fine for criminal use of a communication facility; $100 fine for possession of a controlled substance; $50 fine for possession of drug paraphernalia; and $100 fine for two traffic violations, filed by Altoona police on Jan. 13, 2018.

Damien P. Bio, 43, 1027 Sixth Ave., sentenced July 6, 2018, to one to five years in jail and $50 fine for possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance; one to two years in jail for resisting arrest; one to two years in jail for flight to avoid apprehension; one to five years in jail for possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance; one to five years in jail and $100 fine for possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance; one to five years in jail and $100 fine for possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance; one to five years in jail for criminal use of a communication facility; one to five years in jail for criminal use of a communication facility; one to five years in jail for criminal use of a communication facility; one to five years in jail for conspiracy; one to five years in jail and $100 fine for possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance; one to five years in jail for criminal use of a communication facility; two to five years in jail and $500 fine for possession of a prohibited firearm; one to five years in jail and $250 fine for escape; one to five years in jail for flight to avoid apprehension; and one to five years in jail for resisting arrest, filed by Altoona police on June 13, 2016.

Chastity A. Simanski, 32, 604 Foster St., Gallitzin, sentenced Aug. 17, 2018, to 12 to 24 months in jail and $100 fine for theft by deception; and 12 to 24 months in jail and $100 fine for retail theft, filed by Gabes on Feb. 5, 2018.
