Logan Township allocates $179K in grants

The Logan Township supervisors have approved a plan to allocate the township’s $179,000 in Community Development Block Grant funding for this year.

The money will be distributed as follows:

— $134,000 will go for removal of architectural barriers at Leopold Park.

— $21,000 will go to Family Services Inc.’s proposed new shelter for homeless people.

— $14,000 will go for housing rehabilitation.

— $10,000 will go for administration of the CDBG program.
