Police: Search turns up stolen weapons, meth
A Hollidaysburg man faces felony charges stemming from a search of his Beaver Street home in March that allegedly turned up two stolen guns, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Brad A. Campbell, 38, was arraigned Tuesday morning on felony charges that include receiving stolen property and possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance in connection with the March 13 search of his 315½ Beaver St. home by state narcotics agents with the Attorney General’s Office, along with Hollidaysburg police, Allegheny Township police and members of the Blair County Drug Task Force, according to the charges.
Police allegedly found at least 15 pipes, a digital scale, small plastic bags with 8-ball logos on them, a bag of methamphetamine and two firearms that police said were reported stolen.
A hi-point 9mm rifle model 995 was reported stolen in Allegheny Township and a High Standard .22 caliber revolver was reported stolen to state police in Hollidaysburg, according to the charges filed by Hollidaysburg Borough police.
Bail was set by Magisterial District Judge Matt Dunio at $40,000 cash. Campbell remains in Blair County Prison with a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Paula Aigner on Oct. 6.
