Roadwork
Quarry Road drilling starts today
Pennsylvania Drilling Co. of Imperial will be performing geotechnical core boring work on Quarry Road in Snyder Township, starting today, PennDOT said.
Subcontractor Roadsafe will close Quarry Road for the duration of the drilling. A detour will use Route 453, Silver Barn Road, Hileman Road and Quarry Road.
The three proposed core borings are anticipated to be completed by Friday.
Bridge plans available online
PennDOT is conducting a virtual plans display of the proposed West Loop Road Bridge project in Frankstown Township, Blair County.
